In India, Piaggio launched the BS6 compliant Aprilia SR 160 and Vespa 150 scooters in December 2019. These scooters have a 160cc single-cylinder engine, which is equipped with fuel-injected technology, which increases the power.

Additionally, Piaggio launched new Vespa and Aprilia scooters to commemorate its 25 years in India in 2023. These include the Vespa Touring Edition and the Aprilia SR Typhoon, which are specially designed for Indian riding conditions.
